Question about Haier HTQ21JABWW Top Freezer Refrigerator
MY Haier fridge is icing up at the bottpm of the freezer, which then blocks the three openings to the lower section, causing it to get too warm until the ice is removed for m the holes. I've drefrosted, located the drain hole in the top freezer compartment (right rear lower corner) and it does not drain. water stays at a constant level unless I soak it up. I tried removing the rear lower cover to locate the drain hole at the bottom, and try and clear it, but I can't find it down there. The self defrost seesm to work, its just the melted water that doesn't drain that seems to be the issue.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
I have the same problem. I pulled off the panel inside the freezer and the motor fan wont move and there is black soot all over like there was a fire and it has a burned up smell inside.

Go to an electronics section of Walmart or Target, buy a can of "CleanSafe Dust Remover" compressed air in a can and try to blow the drain clear from the freezer portion. If that doeasn't work, let me know.
