If by master reset you mean wipe out everything and make it look like you just took it out of the box.

Simply put in the "Restoration CD" that came with the computer.
(If you still have the instruction booklet then instructions are in there I believe)

Some one has given me a Packard bell easynote C 3300, ive plugged it in the power supply but all i get is a flashing orange battery light, what is happening please

try takeing out the battery and then try pluging the main power back in and see what happens. if the orange light goes away that means your battery is no good.

I wish to restore my packard bell easynote back to its factory settings but when i bought it it did not have a dics. can i do this any other way? regards martin

Getting any information from Packard Bell is like pulling teeth. I recommend looking on ebay for the recovery discs. Or borrow someone's XP CD and insert the key on the bottom of your computer. If you can't get a CD you can call microsoft and purchase one for $27.

I know this is not what you want to hear. But if you have patience you can write to Packard Bell.
