I have the same question. I have a Samsung M500 and the front LCD screen is "bleeding". So I want to buy a used phone and change the front LCD screen myself as they want $200 to repair it. How do you physically take the old screen out and put the new one in?
I see this question asked a few times with no reply so hopefully someone knows. My inside screen is fine and the phone is working fine as well.

The screen is damaged, the only solution is to replace the LCD with a new one. opening the phone is quite easy for its only bolted by 6 screws, and the housing snaps out and you can see the LCD part already. Browse through Google or look around local repair shops in your location for a replacement LCD.
Dear it is very easy but a little bit tricky to change its screen, but if have you have any experience of repairing or opening the mobile phone then it will be more easy for you. you just open the mobile phone carefully because it has basically two parts screen part and Keypad part so be attentive while opening. after open the phone you just put off the strip (Jack) of LCD from the keypad part then put in the new LCD strip on it. reassemble carefully, you have done now...
Dear.may be your LCD strip is moved from its place or LCD has broke down ,so if u can open ur mobile fone yourself then open it and check the LCD strip and press the LCD strip to plug it properly if it does not work then get a LCD and change. thanks
you need to replace the LCD or LCD connector,, because the white screen problem is on the LCD,, or the software on it is damage,, dont repair it by yourself, because it is very sensitive,, go to the best technician and consult about those i mentioned
Thats actually a tougher repair - you need to open the phone near the swivel and MAKE SURE YOU DON'T TEAR THE FLEX CABLE!
Once that's removed, unclip the flex, dismantel the brace, then replace old lcd with new one, reconnect flex, and when closing the phone BE CAREFUL of the flex near the swivel.
hey guys you can now use http://horizonwirelessonline.com for all repair services.
theyre just setting up, but they have 100's of parts for all the new phones - they can do the repair or send you the parts for you to do at home!
most chances are that that the flate of ur phone is bad connect be cause of dropping. just open it and reattach the cable will ok.
cable is from board to lcd and it may be bad connect on any side lcd or board first check it from board side if no t ok then from lcd side even no ok change a new cable.
