Install status monitor to computer and from there you can choose change toner X and printer turns the cartridges in right place. or if you cant change that way, then under the front cover there is a switch, look the knobs on front cover and find it, it should be upper left corner, then you can rotate the cartridge manually.

Replaced toner cartridge in MFC 9120cn still says "replace toner" and will not print. Tried the cartidge in another MFC 9120cn in our office and it works fine

Remove the cartridge, shake it then re-install it. You could also need to restart the printer after you install the cartridge. Just be careful not to shake any toner onto yourself or the floor.

Hi, just replaced my toner on the MFC-7220 and a message Toner Life End is displayed and will not print. I have tried 2 brand new toner cartridges. Thanks, Linda

Hi there !

Try this solution if it works, the memory of your printer still programs that your toner is end.

Try to make hard reset of your printer by turning off your printer for 5-10 mins, unplug the power cord as well and remove the cartridge toner. Then return back the cartridge, plug the power cord and then restart your printer. Then try to print again.

If displaying still this message, just press stop button to remove the message.

Also, if there is wiper for cleaning the toner cartridge everytime your put new toner, please do it.

This is what we do in your bother MFC printer when this message appears. Just restart the printer and keep pressing stop button when the printer starts.

I hope it helps you. Regards.

After replacing fuser, I get "10-397 Restart Printer" I've tried six new fusers in five different printers and get the same error on every one. I've tried leaving the printer unplugged overnight and it did...

Have you checked that there is enough toner in the cartridges. It may help to remove the cartridge, shake the toner quite rigourously, replace, restart the printer. Also make sure that the paper is not cold or damp.

My printer keeps putting these annoying black lines on my docs. I have an important paper to print and I cant have black lines on it! UGH! I tried dusting and cleaning the drum and restarting the computer...

As you talk of a drum, I take it you have a laser printer. You say you have checked the drum. Without knowing the model, sometimes the waste holder gets full and will cause this. Some carts have the waste holder just below the toner holder in the cart, and others have a separate waste tank.
Always run the printer on the leanest setting that will print well. Stay away from the rich settings as they waste toner and fill the waste tank needlessly, leading to a needed cleaning.
The lines can be waste toner getting printed rather than going into the waste tank.

KONICA MINOLTA 2430 DL - BLACK NOT INSTALLED, CYAN NOT INSTALLED

Unfortuanately, the only solution that I know of is to purchase new chips ($15 ea.) There are multiple websites that sell these. I had the same problem and have resolved it in this mannor. I tells the printer that it is a new toner cartridge. There is another post in 'fixya' that explains howt to disable the 'reading' capabilities of those chips. You have to go into your status display box, printer, mode setting, then uncheck auto toner replace and restart printer. It is supoose to do away with the 'reading'. I tried it BEFORE replacing my toner and it didn't work. You have to replace it first, then follow those steps.

Does that printer require you to insert a chip?
look in the toner box and see if there was a chip (or a card) that needs to be inserted into the printer.

Changed Toner but its still saying "No Toner"

You may need to replace the drum this time. Usually after a few toner changes the drum needs to be changed to.
