Take out USB cable, Unplug from wall wait 5 mins, plug back in. in between, Reboot your PC, then plug it all back in, Plug In, Turn on, plug into the USB port. This may fix it.

HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP all lights ON, blank LCD. Reset method applied (press left arrow+cancel key) but nothing happened. please suggest another way.

8 year old printer
what are you attempting
how are you connected
what connections did you use when it last worked ok
did you ever see it work ok ever?

LCD dead is not good.
the book page on reset is via the LCD
try this,
unplug it, from wall AC power
wait 1hr.
then while holding the power on button (bottom front left)
then plug in the wall cord power.
wait for 30 seconds, holding power with finger
then release it.
many PCs and printers reset this way, millions, with the log reset.

but i think it needs service.
ok
