Re: I have a problem with this hp it say "reset power"...
Take out USB cable, Unplug from wall wait 5 mins, plug back in. in between, Reboot your PC, then plug it all back in, Plug In, Turn on, plug into the USB port. This may fix it.

LCD dead is not good.
the book page on reset is via the LCD
try this,
unplug it, from wall AC power
wait 1hr.
then while holding the power on button (bottom front left)
then plug in the wall cord power.
wait for 30 seconds, holding power with finger
then release it.
many PCs and printers reset this way, millions, with the log reset.
Did you reset once the power was turned off to the desktop and all residual power was drained before moving the jumper?Seems not - from the info supplied which has damaged the circuitry in the board.
no there is no reset button the only thing u can do is take out the battery and unplug ur power supply ...if that dont work call hp if u under warranty they will fix it.
