Best to just replace the keyboard instead of trying to replace a missing key. Keyboards are made cheap and is a common part that is sold in almost any wal-mart, target, k-mart store in the elctronics section. If you have an expensive wireless keyboard from a manufatcurer like logitech, you may be able to get a replacement key from them. Contact the manufacturer for more information.

Hi whenever i press capslock on my toshiba all in one, the cursor is lost and my tyoing gets affected . i then have to agin reset my cursor to where it should be on the page. why is this happening

You need to determine whether it is a hardware (defective keyboard)
or a software problem. If this occurs just in your browser or in a word processing program, but not in any other context, then it's the software. If it happens in different programs and contexts, then it's the keyboard, and likely the caps lock key itself. You might, in that case,
try carefully cleaning under the caps lock key with a thin strip of cardboard or using a mini vacuum cleaner to get out any dirt or crud
under the key. That may help. A more drastic solution would be to replace the entire keyboard, but that requires considerable technical skill.

Hi i need a ers button for my laptop where can i get one

I assume you are asking about the E, R, and S keys on your laptop keyboard. You will need to replace the keyboard, as the keys are specific to each keyboard design......Don't bother looking for replacement keys.....replace the keyboard.....and save the old one in case the same thing happens again....then you will be able to transplant keys from one to the other. Laptop keyboards can be purchased for around $20-$50.

Hope this helps!!

I lost my letter G to my keyboard I need a replacement Letter G where can I get one

probably is best to change the keyboard in this case cause it is not expensive and it will be easier ..usually there are no such keys and they are different for any model ...If it is a laptop is a different story cause a keyboard can be expensive ..and in this case look on ebay or search for parts on Google and you may find one ..but it needs to be the same model ..and it depends about what kinda damage it has ..

What does it cost t have a key replaced on my hp laptop?

It would be difficult to just replace one key, the reason the keyboard keys have hinges and these can vary between keyboard for the same model laptop. You may be lucky to find one that is the same from some spare keyboard parts.
Usually the best solution is to replace the whole keyboard. Please click on this link for replacement keyboards :-

How to install cut and paste on my computer? The last time that my computer was rebooted it was ''lost''

Right mouse clicks should show you the options from the drag down menu. You can try using the keyboard: CTRL+X for cut and CTRL+V for paste. Alternatively, you can key in the "right click" key (usually between the ALT and CTRL keys on the right side of your keyboard) followed by T for cut and P for paste.

Need to re-attach a key that key has fallen off the keyboard

Keys on a keyboard cannot be replaced, especially on a laptop keyboard. You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to have them send you a new keyboard to connect to your laptop. They are fairly easy to replace.

Thanks

I have lost a key from the keyboard. Can I get a replacement? It is the D key.

Hi Memer,
I haven't ever seen just one key being sold, but you might be able to pick up an old keyboard at a garage sale for next to nothing and just replace the one key from it yourself. Otherwise, ebay sells new keyboards for around $20US.
Or just type without the D key. Goo Luck! ;)
