Hi had same problem - solution offered by guest to your problem is right. the 'flower' symbol or macro button is the one that actually doubles as the play/pause button which is why there is a very small play/pause symbol underneath the menu button. the other main play button simply puts the camera into playback mode.

Press the bottom of the button surrounding the menu button.

Can't play back videos on my experna; memory card Sandisk class 4 8Gb. Have a canon Vixia HFR10 camcorder

Okay, ours is a different brand (JVC) but they may have some basic similarities in function. To playback video clips stored on the memory card, put the memory card in the card reader slot of the computer and put the files onto the computer. Playback the clips from your computer video or photo file. (Ours won't playback video stored on the memory card through the camera.)

To playback video clips stored on the camera hard drive through the camera, we open the viewer screen, look at the function keys on the camera body, select the "Play" button. On the screen it displays thumbnails of the various video clips. We use the toggle/function key to select from the menu containing options for playback, edit, delete, protect, etc.

CD Tray will not open, on playback often says insert disk when a cd is entered.

Straighten a paper clip. There is a small hole the size of the paper clip on the front of most disk devices. Put the clip into the hole and the drawer should open.

Playback on camcorder

Hi,

Have you tried to play the video files through your PC?

With the SD card inserted into a card reader, i woul dsuggest you right click on the '?' files and click 'properties' and look for the file type as it has obviously changed.

When you find the file type, you will need to download the appropriate software to view it.

I know that VLC media player (google it, free software) id an excellent media player and supports many formats.

I hope this helps a little.

Audio book not going into audiobook section on sansa clip

Hi,
There are two ways to delete files on your Sansa player.  You can delete them from the player directly or using a PC.

METHOD 1 - Delete files directly on the device
For View, Fuze, Clip, e200v2, and c200v2 only
1. In playback mode, press the Submenu button.
2. Select Delete

METHOD 2 - Delete files using a PC
For all other Sansa players:
1. Connect your device to the PC.
2. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial connection.
3. Locate the folder where your files are stored.
4. Click to select the files you want deleted and delete the files
