Power light comes on but the TV want and the remote want turn it on ether?

Hi,

Are you saying that the screen goes black after the DVD player stops working?

silly question but have you tried turning it on with the remote. if a tv has been turned off by remote and then power goes, turning it on by the tv switch will put the tv back in stand-by mode and you need to use remote.

just a suggestion.

Ether you got a bad flyback or a fuse that is out in the power supply ether or this will need service.

Try this (may not work):

1. UNPLUG power from TV at wall outlet.
2. Turn ON the TV (with no power cable plugged in).
3. Plug power cable back in (at wall outlet)
4. Turn ON TV (don't use remote this time).

Hope this works!

You got a power supply issue here and it would need to be looked at. You ether have a blown fuse or a capitor poped. You can try these people www.teexp.com and see if the work in your area.. I hope this information helps.. Thanks

ether the lamp needs to be replaced or you have a bad capasotor on your power board

there a problem on power side.. chage the ic and the resistor going to ic and check also the signal diode.

1. Hold on TV and POWER simultaneously (light comes on), let go

2. Press POWER then CH+ back and forth (light comes on), when TV turns off

3. press STOP, code is saved!
