Unplug the front keypad, if the tv then will work with remote, you have a bad keyswitch.

The main system control memory IC is faulty. This IC, a small one with 8 solder terminals, can be located very near to the main system control IC.20225b3f-e9ca-4a23-a7fc-77c40ce426e4.jpgce7527c8-a621-47aa-8c42-95729ff3a8f3.jpg
Will look like somewhat like these. A very cheap IC to buy. Usually will start up with a number 24C**. Note this number. It is very important when replacing it. In some cases, there must have some adjustments should be done after replacement. If you wish to know more http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ check this link. It has some details about it. Pull up older posts there, either by its left side bar, or see it in Timslide option.

My toshiba RC-3910 tv turns on but 10 mins later it turns off and it wont turn back on why

hello!
it seems, like the problem of your TV is the power supply module, particularly 12v power supply I.C. chip.STRW6735 or similar. I've replaced few lately with similar problem TV. It might have a few bad electrolytic capacitors on the board, as well. Solution: if you are possess electronics technician skills and have all the necessary equipment and parts , you may do the job yourself. Otherwise, look for replacement power supply board, preferably at used boards distributors(shopjimmy.com or similar). I won't recommend to buy used on e-bay, unless it has been rebuilt. Or, remove the board and take it to local TV repair shop for rebuilding. This way you may save a few bucks.
Good luck,
Alex.

    TV won't turn off

Or ironically the power switch on the TV could be stuck and causing a false on/off command. Don't let the simple things such as that be overlooked.
