hello! it seems, like the problem of your TV is the power supply module, particularly 12v power supply I.C. chip.STRW6735 or similar. I've replaced few lately with similar problem TV. It might have a few bad electrolytic capacitors on the board, as well. Solution: if you are possess electronics technician skills and have all the necessary equipment and parts , you may do the job yourself. Otherwise, look for replacement power supply board, preferably at used boards distributors(shopjimmy.com or similar). I won't recommend to buy used on e-bay, unless it has been rebuilt. Or, remove the board and take it to local TV repair shop for rebuilding. This way you may save a few bucks. Good luck, Alex.
Deflection board has issues most likley the flyack transformer or CL031 has fried. Replacing the deflection board will usually solve the issue. Replacement deflection boards are available from www.tvrepairworld.com
power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
I hope this will help out in solving the problem....
There is no "bulb" in your tv , you have a CRT projection tv, need to have power supply checked as well as the convergence board. Have a trained tech do it, this is not for beginners. Julio firstname.lastname@example.org
If the picture looks like checker board pattern the TV may have a problem with part:
D8F00 PART # 264P828010-diode-DAN202U/MA142W
D8FO1 " " " " "
C8F26 " 141P148000 CER (B25K-1M-K)
C8F29 " " " "
OR the formatter board #930B924001, on that board there are 5 caps 1000 ufd 35v that commonly go bad.
