Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
Acer is sending me a warranty replacement cd drive. After removing all the screws I can find to remove bottom casing to access cd unit, the cover is free everywhere except in the center rear where the battery slides into place. I can't find any other screws and am afraid of pulling too hard. There is a little round moulded notch that I thought perhaps is a release point somehow but can't seem to make it release. How do I finish taking the cover off so I can replace the cd-rom unit? Thanks for any assistance.
It is very likely the remaining securing screw is under the keyboard.
