The faceplat wont attatch. I've opened it up and there is a tiny spring that is connected at one point, but not the other. My problem is I cannot find the other point. As well, I cannot find a drawing anywhere that show this detail. I guess a more obvious question is will reconecting the spring fix the problem?

Attatching new heating element

you have to order a new element. and take back and side panel off, to reinstall new one, what ever you do do not cut any wires.
tip

Maytag MMV4205 door won't stay shut.

After tearing apart my microwave, I found a little spring broke off the latches. Open the door to the microwave, pop off the plastic piece that the latches on the door go through. You will see a spring behind the latch. If the spring is not connected to the latch it won't operate properly. The spring was held onto the latch with a tiny plastic piece that broke off. An easy solution instead of buying a new latch is to heat up one side of the spring without burning yourself and melt it through the latch piece where it was originally connected then put everything back together.
Hope this helps,

Just change the battery on my Nike Anvil WC0020 watch and the alarm won't sound for the timer as well as the two alarm settings.

If you changed battery yourself, you've lost the tiny spring without noticing it. Carefully check around the place where you changed the battery. The spring itself is very, very tiny, so, be as concentrated as much as you can. That spring (coilspring named by watchmakers) transmits the signal from watch movement to the watch back cover where the sound membrane is located. In case if you find it, open the watch and insert that spring with the bent out end first in to the desired hole in watch movement (should be named COIL SPRING). After that re-assemble watch and the sound should work.

Kitchenaid stand mixer will not stay in the off position.

There is a spring, item #4, which hooks on to the bottom of the control plate, item # 25, and pulls it back when you move the lever to off. Remove the rear cover and see if that spring is still connected to the control plate and to the lever arm, Item # 3. Here is the diagram:

Don't know how to attach the vacume

The discharge tube and collector bag will replace the blower nozel ( where the air comes out when blowing). The large diameter tube ( pick up tube) will attatch to the impeller side. There is a plastic gaurd on a spring loaded hinge. Open the gaurd and attatch the large tube.

55cc air induction chain saw wont start, keeps flooding

what do you mean by flooding?
if it is overflowing?
try to remove the 4 screw underneath the carb,
take out the diaphragm, and then followed by float valve..
there is a tiny spring,be very careful...
stretch the spring a lil bit more at about 2mm...

as time passes, the diaphragm deteriorate and one way to correct them is by stretching the tiny spring to give more strain on the diaphragm...

this is what i did if i am too lazy to go out and buy the diaphragm kit..
only 10 bucks...hehe

Bobbin thread is too loose, I 've tried tightening screw on bobbin case and changed thread tension- suggestions

If you have a separate bobbin case there might be a tiny piece of lint under the bobbin tension spring.
