If your machine has a "Bake" cycle then choos that cycle and push start and adjust the timer so it cooks the right length of time. Your manual should tell you how long the the last bake cycle takes and just push your timer until that time is set less the 20 minutes already baked.
Kind of feel around in the dark. The object was to have the machine mix and knead, then actually bake in pans in an oven which was already warm from cooking turkey, etc.
Took some doing without the book, but we figured it out, and just jerked the loaf at the right time, before the baking process began!
I have the B2300 bread machine as well and I have encountered the same problem as you. So, I came up with the idea of removing the paddles right after the machine has stopped mixing the dough.
