I need one replacement mounting bracket for a franklin brass towel rod. The bracket is 2" long, 1" wide, has a center screw hole. I can't find a supplier for such a small part; I don't need anything else! The rod fits into two ball-like holders. Each "ball" is on a post that is attached to a circular plate, which slips over the mounting bracket, and is made secure by a set screw. I don't mind buying a set of brackets, but I only need one

How do you remove a Delta Towel Rod

To remove a Delta towel rod from the wall, you will need to first locate the mounting brackets that hold the rod in place. These will typically be located at each end of the rod, and will be secured to the wall with screws. Here are the steps to remove the towel rod:
  1. Gather the tools you will need, including a screwdriver or drill with screwdriver bit.
  2. Locate the mounting brackets at each end of the towel rod.
  3. Using the screwdriver or drill, remove the screws that secure the brackets to the wall.
  4. Carefully lift the towel rod off of the brackets and set it aside.
  5. If the mounting brackets are not reusable or you do not plan to reuse them, you can remove them from the wall by removing any remaining screws.

I have a franklin towel bar and the mounting bracket broke at the screw hole. is there replacement mounting brackets avaible?

Probably not, but if they sell a toilet paper holder of the same style the bracket might be identical to the towel holder, but would be cheaper than buying a new towel bar. Good luck, Al K

I don't know how to take my Gatco 4515 "Tiara" Robe Hooks off the door now that I'm moving. Please help. Thank you.

I'm not 100% sure about this model, but I have a similar hook by another brand. Here's how mine is removed:

When you look at the hook, there's a small hole at the 6 o'clock position, (pointing down, right next to the wall.) This hole is actually a set screw that can be turned with a small hex-key (aka allen wrench)
thomascha103_7.jpg The size needed is pobably about 2 mm, or 1/16 in.

Turn the set screw counter-clockwise for a few turns to loosen the hook from the mounting bracket. When the set screw is backed out far enough, the hook will detach.
After he hook is removed, you'll be able to see the mounting bracket that is screwed into the wall. Remove the screws with a screwdriver, and take the mounting bracket with you. You'll need it to attach the hook to the new wall.

If there is no set screw or hole visible from any side, then your Gatco hook might be removed from the mounting bracket by twisting the entire hook counter-clockwise.

If anyone else out there has experience with this particular brand, please chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope I've been helpful. Good luck.

The left bracket/brace is off the wall. There is one long screw in the back center. How is this put back together?

There should be a small screw in each of the arms that secure the towel bar to the wall mounts. You will need to loosen each of these to remove the towel bar from the wall and to release the mounting bracket which has pulled free. To repair you need to puchase a larger size moly plug, toggle mount or other suitable hardware to secure the mounting bracket to the sheetrock wall (should not have pulled free is screwed in to the stud). Once you secure the mounting bracket then you are able to re-install the towel bar by placing the arms over the mounting brackets and tightening the small screws on each arm of the towel bar.

Here are a couple of videos which should help you undesrtand how towel bars are installed. Hope this is helpful. (do not delete) utube.png Here is a couple of videos that should help understand how towel bars

I have a Viking Grill model VGBQ530 with cast iron burners that need replacement. I cannot find the exact model no. with these replacement burners however it appears that Viking now have a replacement made...

That is correct. Viking no longer supports the Cast Iron Burners. There is an aftermarket Burner VIKU1 that comes with mounting brackets to convert older Viking Grills that used a Cast Iron Burner to be able to switch to the stainless steel burner. The large bracket attaches to the center tube and has two screw holes and screws for mounting to the rear of the housing. The two smaller brackets mount to the two holes at the rear wall of the housing and create a ledge for the end of the two tubes to rest on.

The towel bar just fell apart. The wall mounts remain in tact as well as the mounting hardware on 1 side (the piece that the bars (this towel rack has 2 bars) slide into. I can't figure out what holds...

The part that holds the bar up should either have a screw in the bottom to tighten up against the wall bracket or a hole to access a scew and turn the screw out to tighten to the wall bracket

How to Install Towel Ring

Place the mounting bracket against the wall and trace around the inside of the two ovals on the bracket. Gently drill a hole into the center of the traced oval. If you hit a stud, you will not need the anchor. Carefully tap the drywall anchors into the holes. Screw the bracket onto the wall, using the screws provided, into the two anchor points. Make sure the set screw is backed out far enough to set the escutcheon over the mounting bracket. Place the escutcheon over the mounting bracket, top first. Tighten the set screw with the Allen Wrench provided.
