The store wouldn't replace it for me... can someone help? what can i do, i only had it for 2 months back i nmarch and Sony said they can fix it for like 150-200$.... my 1 year warranty isn't even over yet. but they said it wasnt covered by it

It sounds like something has gotten into the "gears" of the lens. It can be something very small like a grain of sand. or something could have jarred the camera and caused the lens to come off of the track and now the lens wont retract. It can be pricey to fix and usually not worth it.
The focus is stuck. Contact your local Sony service center, but

Sounds like Nikon are just trying to get out of fixing it. Have you read the terms of the warranty. If the screen is not working then it is more than likely an electronic fault and they are covered by the warranty. The only way the screen would not be covered is if it was damaged by the owner. The screen is part of the camera and therefore comes under the warranty, unless it specifically states that it is not covered in the warranty. Ask a consumer rights department. Don't take no for an answer.
