Device Drivers for Evesham Voyager C545

Hi,
I needed to use the Recovery CD for Windows Media Centre Eition and am having problems trying to resolve the three outstanding device installs:

  • HDAUDIOFUNC_02&VEN_14F1&DEV_2BFA&SUBSYS_14F10001&REV_0900&9932793&0&0102
Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus
  • PCIVEN_8086&DEV_27DA&SUBSYS_82241071&REV_02&B1BFB68&0&FB
    SM Bus Controller
  • ACPIMTC0301&38462492&0

Do you know where I can download the appropriate drivers from.

Many thanks,

I think you need better ids of what is on your computer. Download Belarc Adivsor, (free) and it will tell you all your have on your computer, with serial numbers and codes. I think these ids can't be correct Also, did you check device manager to see if you have any checks? Please respond with what Belarc has to say about your devices. Good luck

Looks like you need to install Windows from scratch. You need a Windows installation CD and the product installation code.
After Windows is installed you need to install the Acer Aspire 1650 device drivers. If you cannot connect to the Internet then you need a computer that has Internet access to download the device drivers and install them on your Acer.

Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Makesure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require thatmatches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link toget to the Acer support: -

Evesham Quest A425 drivers

As a last resort when trying to locate drivers for mystery devices in Windows XP, you can sometimes identify the unknown devices by reviewing the results of submitting their hardware ID's to a search engine such as Google. To obtain the hardware ID string, open the device manager, double click the device for which you still need a driver, and select the details tab. The second line in the drop down box should be Hardware IDs. The string you want to use looks like VEN_xxxx&DEV_xxxx with the xxxx being characters 0-9 or A-F (Heaxadecimal). Put the string into Google and see what you get. If you can identify the device correctly it will be much easier to locate the correct drivers.
Good luck.

Easiest way is to run eversesthome
click on + by motherboard, click on chipset, click on northbridge at top of right column,
