-   i was using my palmv and it let me know that battery was low. i kept using it till it went completely dead. i have put on cradle and green light on for a day and it still won't turn on now? Im on a fire dept and our radio provider tell me its best for the radio to go completely dead every once in a while for better the charge so i thought that with the palmv i would do the same and now that it went completely dead, it will not come back on. what can i do ? -   FIREMAN CAPT

When I initially bought my new computer in June, immediately after installing the original installation CD, my computer performed a hot sync operation. But when I tried to do a hot sync yesterday, my computer crashes. I've tried uninstalling the Palm OS from the PC. Removed the USB driver and let WIndows find and install over again. Did a cold reboot, then a hot reboot (big mistake). I've notice on my computer it keeps reminding me that it's located a new device afer I press the hot sync button. It never did that before when it was working properly. I point it to the directory where the palmusbd.sys driver exist, which is in the Sony Handheld directory. It apears to load the driver, then initializes a hot sync operation for about a second and then my computer reboots. The only solution I can think of is to restore my computer to a much earlier setting. But before I do, I'd like to hear another opinion.
