Multi-grade will be fine it realy dont need a pricy oil in it this kind of engine will run on dirty cooking oil,,with or with out the chips still in it?

always check spark and compression first spark needs to be blue and compression should be 120 but will barely run on 80psi if both are fine rebuild and acid dip carb also check muffler for carbon build up clogged muffler means no power
