I am not recieving mycalls they are going straight to voice mail

The way to fix this is to change the power management settings on your network adapter card to allow the LAN to bring the computer out of standby and to disable the power save feature to the network card.

You can do all of this under "preferences" on the device itself, which in your control panel, under hardware manager. Open system in the control panel and then go to your hardware manager. It lists all the devices connected to your computer. Find your network adapter card and choose preferences and click on the tabs across the top until you find the power save feature and check or uncheck the box to disable it.

The instructions above are for a computer running Windows XP. If you are running anything else, getting to the appropriate area may be different. If this is the case, go back to your original post on Fixya and use the "comment" or "reply" button and let me know. I will look up the instructions for accessing the adapter for your operating system and get back to your promptly with how to change the settings as noted above.

I have a Emachine EL1200-05w. The modem went up in

You're using dial-up internet? That's what that modem is for. The computer also has an Ethernet port, on the back of the computer.

You have a small width computer case. Takes a low profile network card.

From specifications of eMachines Support, it looks like you just have
one - PCI-Express x1 slot, that is open. (Unused)

A PCI-Express x1 slot is small in length. It has 36 contact pins. 18 on each side.

(Not to be confused with a PCI-Express x16 slot. This slot is long, and has 164 contact pins. 82 on each side. Used for graphics cards only)

If this is so, you need a dial-up modem adapter card, that will fit a PCI-Express x1 slot, and is a low profile card.
(Low profile in height)

That would be the second card down listed on the above page. The Model 3035.

If my information is incorrect, and you have an open available PCI slot,
(White in color. 124 contact pins. 62 on each side), you need the first one listed,
Model 3030

These are the places that carry them,

Windows cannot search A hardware?

Its probably a bluetooth device as it says. So install its drivers if not recognized automaticaly
1. If it is an external dongle try to install the drivers from a CD that came with it.
2. If not (an internal device usually on laptops) drivers for it are on the motherboard CD, so browse the CD looking for a folder named Bluetooth, or something associated and install them.
After installing will be asked to reset your computer so do it as asked. After that the installed device will copy and execute some files and will start working
