Setting Time on DEH 5850

Somehow when I removed the Front Panel from the Main System for 2-3 weeks. All the Settings were lost including the Time Setting. I was able to reset all the settings back apart from Time or Clock. How do I set the time to show correct Timing?

I have a pioneer DEH-8400mp. When you press the OPEN button which drops the front faceplate, the rear display turns off, and none of the buttons do anything. Can you help?

It is the failure of the flexible strip line wire that comes to the panel as this strip breaks of after sometime due to use.
you will need to remove the panel and the main unit to replace the strip which can be procured from Pioneer.

DEH-2050MPG

Yesterday I installed the Pioneer DEH-2050MPG in an old Beetle I just bought, and had the same problem. The instructions were completely useless; Ignore them.

Here's how to set the time...

1. Hold the source button down until clock starts flashing.
2. Use arrow buttons to set time.
3. Press source again to save.

That's what worked for me.
