What is better?

Im thinking about getting some new speakers for my car and i was wondering if anyone knew which is better the sony 1625B or the JVC CS-V625

If I had to pick based on specs and pictures, I might go for the Sony's over the JVCs. But listening to each of them is really the only way to know for sure.

Keep in mind, neither Sony nor JVC are really known for their car speakers. You might be able to find something a bit better for a similar price from Infinity, Boston Acoustics, Polk, or Pioneer.

My car speakers cut out when i turn my volume to loud what could the problem be i have stock speakers in a 02 chevy truck and a brand new jvc radio


Hello soccer_fr704,

Sounds like the JVC is overdriving the speakers. Most OEM speakers are just not designed to handle more than 12-15 watts RMS and the JVC is rated at 22 watts.

About the only solutions are to keep the volume really low or replace the speakers with ones that can handle the power from an aftermarket receiver. New speakers will make that JVC sound better, too.

well it sounds like u may have blown the channel or your amp was powering your rear speakers

I have a JVC cd player, model kd6320 and the ic301 chip has burned out to where i can't read the chip number. Does anyone know what kind of chip this is?


you best bet is to buy new kenwood cd player u wont be able to get just chip u need on jvc alosng with old mechnizms best bet go on ebay get kenwood x470 or better model starts at 100 they take heat like no othe rok sound way nicer then jvc
