Connect the brown wire (parking break) to the black wire (ground) this solved my problem.

This work for me. However, my display stays luminated after i turn the power off, is this normal?

Earth the pink lead which says (brake). officially it should be connected to the handbrake so the pic comes on when the handbrake is up but if it is earthed the pic will be there all the time
