It's between 55 and 65 degrees fahrenheit. If you're storing a lighter red wine, you'd want to keep it on the lower end (55 degrees). And for the darker (deep) red, you'd want to keep it on the higher end (65 degrees). All white wines should be on the lower end, and below. You can drop down to 50 degrees if you'd like. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

SOURCE: my wine cooler no longer cools the temperature is hot

Do you hear it running? Usually there are two things that happen with wine coolers when they get warm. The first is a faulty cold temperature control, failing to turn the unit on despite our attempt. You should have one, possibly two or more fans. If you have any, and they do not run no matter where you set control, that is likely your problem. If you dont have any fans - you will likely have a black plate with some "bubbles" around the back and side walls, Then you may have to have a service company test your compressor, to see if the compressor itself or the starter has failed.

Assuming the other motors on the cabinet are running, you've narrowed your problem down to 2 things, the compressor itself, or the start device has failed. Without the proper tools you wont be able to test the compressor first. My advice, go to repair clinic . com, see what a starter will cost you, if you can find a repairman to check your compressor for cheaper than what it costs to buy starter, well there you go. Either way, if its the compressor thats bad, you wont want to spend the money to replace, unless you have a built in worth several thousand, or physical constraints of kitchen prevent you from buying new fridge.

SOURCE: Wine cooler displays temperature setting but does

It's 1 of 3 things...

A. The fans are not turning. Remove the back, and see if the fans are getting 12 volts, and spinning freely. Remove them and clean off the dust from the heat sink.
B. The Peltier Chip is shot. If the fans run, check for 12 volts on the power connector that's on thelower left of the curcuit board. If there's power, but no cooling, the Peltier is shot. These are available from E-bay for ~$13, but it's a major dissassembly to get it out.
C. If you don't get 12 volts to the fans or the Peltier chip, replace the circuit board.

I have a Everstar HDWC35 that chills the wine so cold that the corks pop out when the wine freezes even though the temperature is set at 58

The most likely cause is that you have a bad temperature sensor. Some wine coolers will display the set temperature, not actual temperature so although you set it for 58°, the temperature inside is much colder. If the temperature sensor is bad, then it's likely sending a signal to the control board that says it like 99° so the wine cooler is always trying to cool down to 58°. If you have an independent thermometer, put it in the wine cooler and see what it reads.

FYI, bad temperature sensor are pretty common in wine coolers. It's a design flaw that most manufacturers are just recently correcting.

WK[L] 3000 unit can not change the set temperature. It is stuck on 64 degrees. The unit continues to run and the temperature shows 55.

IVE SEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE

THE FACT THAT YOU CANT CHANGE THE SET COOL POINT ON THE UNIT BELOW 64 IS A SYMPTOM OF A DAMAGED CONTROL BOARD (SENTRY III), NOW THE UNIT CONTINUING TO COOL DOWN BELOW THE SET COOL POINT OF 64 AND GOING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 55 IS MOST LIKELY THE RELAY.
I HAVE FIXED THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE BY REPLACING THE CONTROL BOARD AND RELAY ON THE UNIT.

Wine cooler does not stay cool

Do only if you are properly trained on live circuits.. Do at your own risk. Check the compressor's capacitor and the relay. Is the compressor getting juice?

Do I need a wine cooler to store my wines or can I store them in a normal refrigerator?

The purpose of a wine cooler is to store wines at their proper temperatures in a proper manner. Wine coolers are set to higher temperature ranges than other systems simply because wine should not be kept as cool as other beverages.

It just stopt cooling ([email protected])

Hello,

Turn the temperature dial to the lowest temperature setting. Wait 24 hours for the wine cooler to reach the desired temperature. Also, turn the wine cooler off and inspect the fan. If the fan if it's running or not.

Lastly, check the compressor.

These are the areas that could make your wine cooler stop cooling; the temperatue settings (Thermostat), then Fan and the compressor.

Check these three areas and let me have a feed back.

Bye for now.

Stuck at 77 degrees!

Hi

Do not assume the problem is related to the compressor or the sealed, hermetic system; these types of problems happen only rarely. Your unit may have dirty condenser coils, a door that doesn't seal tightly, or a defective temperature control.
1) Check the cold control. Be sure it is set to "cold." Normally, the temperature inside the unit should be about 37 degrees Fahrenheit.

2) Listen for the freezer fan inside the freezer. When the freezer fan is running, it means the defrost timer and the cold control in the unit are both set to cool.

3) Listen for the compressor fan, where the compressor is located (typically behind or beneath the refrigerator. When the freezer fan is operating, the compressor fan should also be working (most of the time).

4) If one of the fans is not working or the compressor is off, the unit will offer very little cooling or none at all.

hope you will be helpfull..
