Re: How do i replace belt on condenser tumble dryer
You need to remove the whole front of the machine by removing the : top by the 3 screws at the back, then unscrew the screws across the front of the top of the bezel then remove, then open the door, remove the circle of screws then put the machine on its back, remove the screws at the bottom front of the machine, then lift the front bottom of the machine and slide it upwards then you should be able replace the belt then refit in reverse order good luck.

Try to physically turn the motor @ the pulley on the motor shaft. It sounds like the motor might be seized. If it does turn, there is a small fuse link on top of the motor that can be replaced. Good luck to you.
the filter care light comes on when the machine is over heating so the "brain" thinks the lint trap is full , clean the entire venting system, including the outside vent cover and remove any debris , then unplug the machine for a few minutes and see if it resets
If the drum is very stiff to turn could be the drum bearings shot which would account for the broken belt, replace belt and it liable to break shortly after again. hover are known for there bad bearings and they cost a small fortune.
check it out have a look and see if there is nothing jaming the drum inside, i am certain your belt has gone and maybe down to the stiff drum making belt break, replace belt but bare in mind it may break again if the drum is too stiff.
choice is yours really. bearing kits cost more than 50 quid in general

Disconnect power and access your dryer fuses. Check and test your fuses for "continuity". Most likely, a white thermal fuse. Can possibly be your ignitor or heat element as well. Is your dryer gas or electric?
