Thankyou in advance for any help you can give me. I know I will NOT ever recommend this model and possibly manufacturer to anyone. I have had nothing but a hard time with this. Thanks again.
Hi, I don't know if you are still trying to figure it out but I have the same camera and I bought a Firewire adapter card similar to this: IOGear IEEE 1394 3-Port Cardbus Card, except I have a couple of USB ports on it as well. I use Windows XP and so I just connect from the DV of the camera and stick the other end (the firewire) into my adapter card and then stick that into the slot on my computer and it works fine.
I agree though, this camera SUCKS. Good luck. :) ~A
