The reason you Youtube is Video application are mostly real time, what I mean by this is that the video and audio must syncronise for you to have a meaningful video.
Your internet bandwidth may not be large to support downloading streaming meadia. For vedio to play properly, it will download the vedio first to yoour system before playing the video. the time it takes to download the much your bandwith can accommodaite at a time is the time the system is buffering. If you have a good bandwidth, the video will play without you noticing it playing from the internet.

How do I gt YouTube to completely stop buffering

first it maybe nessacary to understand what buffering mean's , when you get a message that a video is buffering , this means that the display processor has executed all the code it had at that moment , but there wasn't enough info to build a complete image to display (in proper format) there can be a few reasons this happens , (1) your processor is under rated for the task at hand (2) your internet connection is being restricted (throttled) by some means (these several reasons this can happen) (3) the site your connected to may have a limiter placed on it (equipment speed)

How do I stop youtube from buffering?

Buffering is the process of loading the video from Youtube servers to your screen. The buffering depends mainly on speed of your internet connection. You can try the following options
  1. Switch to a highspeed internet connection
  2. Once the video starts, press the pause button. Leave it for 5-10 min and then try playing

EVERY TIME I GET A YOU TUBE VIDIO FORWARDED TO ME WHEN I TRY TO PLAY IT IT WILL START AND STOP START AND STOP OVER AND OVER UNTIL I FINALLY JUST DELETE IT WHATS UP???????

Hi,

It seems a link is getting forwarded to you, so when you click on the link it starts to buffer the video, which will start and stop depending on the speed of your internet at that time.

Youtube keeps buffering every 5 seconds

Your download speed is too slow to both "download" and "play" at the same time.

Contact your ISP, and upgrade to a faster service.

Or, stop running any other software that is downloading/uploading (such as peer-to-peer file-sharing software), so that the full speed of your Internet connection is available to YouTube.

Youtube videos take too long to load

If you are experiencing either: A) slugglish loading or buffering, B) that "spinning circle" looking like it could seemingly go on forever, C) "choppy" videos that start/stop/start/stop frequently, or D) vids that sometimes come to a complete stop, maybe your cache/memory is full and thus can't take anymore.

Exit out of YouTube (but not your browser) and do one of the steps below. Afterwards, shutdown and reboot. Not only will this "unclog" your computer's "cache", it will make everything "fresh", and faster:

like if you have Google Chrome:

→ Tools (wrench) → Clear browsing data...

[x] Clear browsing history

[x] Clear download history

[x] Empty the cache

[x] Delete cookies

Clear data from this period: → Everything

→ Clear Browsing Data
If you have other applications which are running at the same time (such as "Torrents"), they will slow down YouTube as well. In those cases, you mightwant to consider uninstalling any Torrents you got.
goodluck, and do rate the solution if got help

My youtube videos takes more time buffering than playing a 5 min video takes 30mins or more to play

The reason why the youtube videos takes more time in buffering is it gathers the data/video before it loads or run. And it will also vary the speed of the internet connection. Meaning, the low internet connection, the more time in buffering.
