How to remove ask search

I uninstall ask. Then in Internet Explorer turn off all addons. Then i never use IE again unless it is to turn off all addons again. Then i go to settings in firefox or opera and turn off ask in prefered search engines. Then i go to program files and delete the ask folder. (In Vista/Win7/Win8) Then Windows Explorer/Organized/Folder And Search Options/ checkmark Show hidden files folders or drives also uncheck hide protected operating system files. under C:Program Data delete ask Under Administrator or possibly your account name /Appdata/Roaming look for ask and delete if it is there also /Local Low or /Local Remove ask if you see it This should be enough if it exists in the register windows can handle it or use a registry cleaner. To remove all of your trojans, worms, hijackers, viruses, rootkits. Use spynomore to show you where they are. I delete anything it finds from hidden folders and in the registry. Unhackme runs each time i boot up to keep most things off. Then also open Internet Explorer and turn off all addons then never use IE again. Get firefox or opera or safari or chrome. Get the addons for them that do security or prevent popups. If you want me to assist then install teamviewer and contact me here or at mikadot at hotmail dot com and i will remote administrate you. I would need the ID and password and a time that we are both online.

I try to open websites through my wii system and it says i needs flash player. please help

Important Notes about the Internet Channel and Opera Browser
  • The information on this page describes the features found in the latest version of the Internet Channel (ver. 9.30). You can identify the version number of your Internet Channel by selecting the Opera/Home icon in the tool bar of the browser, then clicking on the "Opera Powered" icon at the top of the screen.

  • USB keyboard support is only available for version 9.30. Visit the Wii Channels section of the Wii Shop Channel to obtain the latest version.

  • The Internet Channel supports http and https. It is not compatible with other types of protocols, such as ftp, mailto, etc.

  • The Internet Channel is compatible with Flash, up to version 8. It is compatible with all earlier versions, but versions higher than 8 will not be compatible. There is currently no way to download and install higher versions of the Flash Player to the Wii console.

  • You can allow access to the Internet Channel through the Parental Controls of the Wii. If the controls are enabled, access to the Internet Channel will require the PIN to be entereed.

  • When entering website address, you do not need to type in "http://"; however, websites that begin with "https://" will need to be entered in full.

  • The Classic Controller, Nintendo GameCube Controller, and Nunchuk are not used with the Internet Channel. In addition, only one Wii Remote will work with the Internet Channel at a time. USB keyboard support is available for versions 9.30 and higher. Visit the Wii Channels section of the Wii Shop Channel to obtain the latest version.

  • Many types of video playback, such as QuickTime (.avi) and Windows Media Video (.wmv) are not compatible with the Opera Browser and will not play.

  • The Internet Channel costs 0 Wii Points to download, and is available in the Wii Shop Channel, in the Wii Channels section.

  • The Wii console supports cookies. At this time, there is no way to delete cookies without deleting the Internet Channel's saved data from the system memory

    404 problem

As the name mentions, error code 404 means that the
    1. address that you are trying to access does not exist. First u need to make sure that you are typing the correct URL in the address bar of the Internet Explorer (or any other browser). If you are sure that the url you have typed is correct, then you can check it from any other location (a cybercafe, friend's pc etc.).
    2. It may also happen that the site you are trying to access may currently be on maintenance so , the web page will usually not be accessible.
    3. If you are accessing the URL from bookmarks, it may not load properly as pages that require user login will expire after some time.
4.You could also try an alternate web browser (Internet explorer 9,mozilla firefox, opera, chrome etc).
Now, try to open the big fish games website from here.

(As Internet Explorer 7 has known issues regarding opening some websites, i suggest you to switch to a different browser)

    all the best.

    Go to
    http://technet.microsoft.com/sv-se/sysinternals/cb56073f-62a3-4ed8-9dd6-40c84cb9e2f5(en-us).aspx

    and download process explorer.
Start it, and use the 'target' icon (to the right of the binoculars)
and 'drag' the icon to the command-box like window.
Then process explorer will tell you which program or process is causing this window to appear.
Find this program or process in windows file explorer and delete it.
    Done!
    Tip.
Also download autoruns, a program that shows ALL autostarting programs, much better than win 98's msconfig
