Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
Good day to you All.
I am Alekseyi Lyan from Uzbekistan and I own an Acer Travelmate 4000. Please halp me solve one problem. It is that my screen some times becomes in red dots where it should have black. Even the Windows boot screen is red instead of black. Now I solve it by turning the laptop off and closing the lid and I give a gentle shake. then I turn it on and the red color is gone. As I guess I have a physical prolem but not the problem with a driver or a program. I guess that my video adaptor is not fixed to the place firmly and after I shake it, it gets to its place. the question is am I right? If yes then where is exactly the video card or adaptor is situated. I don't wnat to give it to service to a service senter in Uzbekistan as we don't have Acer service center but just service centers. they are not authorised Aser service centers and take a lot of money for their work. I want to find the problem my self and fix it. So I would be very pleased if you send me an instruction to the parts instulled inside my computer or a suggestion how to fix it at home. Laptop video adaptor is built in to the mainboard. the problem you observe is maybe the connection towards your screen is lessen. I suggest you to observe your laptop for a couple of a days and if the problem again occur then thats the time you open your laptop and then clean the inside part and refix related connections in it. this will resolve the issues.
