Windows 7 for downloading

Do you mean the Windows 95 OS or Windows 7? If you have Windows 95B (with USB support), get a USB card reader. You may need to add a USB card to your computer. (Look carefully at the manufacturer's site for the drivers, fewer companies are providing drivers for the older OS versions (before XP).) Windows 95a doesn't support USB at all. You would need a new OS. This is not guaranteed to work. If you upgrade Win95a to Win98, issues may still exist with the USB card reader. Remove the card from the camera and plug into the xD slot on the card reader. If the card reader works, you can use a version of Photoshop or any image viewer since your photos are JPEGs.

If you mean Windows 7, your computer might have an memory card reader. Check for an xD card slot. Otherwise, get a card reader (USB or internal that uses a 3.5" drive bay and connects to an available USB motherboard connector if you have one). Here is a source for several USB card readers: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?MfrId=0&CatId=2833 . Remove the card from the camera and insert it into the computer's xD slot. Then use the Windows Photo Viewer or any other image viewing or editing program to look at the pictures.

Open the card as you would any flash drive or optical disc. Go to Computer (My Computer) and access the card reader "drive", open folders to find the Olympus one. Drag and drop pictures to your hard drive or double-click to launch in the program linked to the JPEG file type.

Windows 8 will behave like Windows 7 with the card reader (for most readers).

I hope this helps.

Toshiba flash cards not working

Flash Drive or SD Cards? Flash Drive is where you put the mechanism into a USB Port. SD Cards are where you might take the card out of a camera and stick it into the SD Card Reader Slot on the computer.

Which one are you saying is not working? If its the SD Card Reader, go download and reinstall the driver again.
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "ToshibaSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Card Reader drivers. If all fails maybe your card reader has gone bad. You can always purchase one for under $10 that plugs into the USB Port. When the site below comes up just type: SD Card Reader in the white search box and hit GO. The link is below:

Hi i was just wondering where i can insert a compact flash card in my pc thanks nihal

You need a flash card reader that has a CF slot. Some desktops and laptops come with these. Alternatively, you can buy one. Some are sold to fit in a 3.5" drive bay in a desktop. Others will connect to a USB port on the computer. This page has a number of different card readers that support Compact Flash cards: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007958%20600021611&IsNodeId=1&name=Yes . The prices start under $10 and go up depending on the features in the unit. I don't have any experience with these; the card reader in my desktop was provided with the unit.

I hope this helps.

Where can you use a sd card on a dell inspiron 530

The 530 doesn't have a built in port for the card but you could find one at www.surpluscomputers.com that will read multiple types of cards. Have you tried plugging a USB cable from the camera to the computer and downloaded the info that way?

How to format the flash disk?

Get a flash reader that can read your flash card to a PC. Connect the reader and insert the flash card while the computer is running. This is safe because it is USB. Install the drivers for the flash card. Run the utillities that allow to format the card.

Some cards can be formated using the Windows format program that is for formatting drives.
