When I turn it on..I no longer get the menu screen..only a white blank sceen

motherboard problem. contact laptop technician

this could be many things, one thing i would do, is delete items i no longer use, and when Quiting a game I would try ejecting the disk to see what happens..

This is a major system failure especially display. You have to show it to one of the computer experts OR refer the matter to the company

when u power up the computer press F8 key then u see safe mode and other menu then enter in enable vga mode then change screen resolution to 1024*768

The monitor flicker problem. The monitor when turn on will display image for couple of second then turn black. The monitor status led is still green. This will happen each time it is turn on. The symptom at appear to come from the inverter board.

press the play and pause button then on the bottom of the ipod theres a orange swich and make it turn orange...

Its time to show it to an approved repair shop, your display seems to have gone. I too had similar problem got it rectified at Service center.

Have you checked the display mode you're in? If you have the display set to off (to save power) and also the picture review time set to off, then you'll just see a black screen. Try pressing the 'Disp.' button below the screen when the camera is on - it should cycle through different settings with each press: Off, On, On with picture info. Similarly, in the playback mode this will show you more or less info about the picture you are viewing.

Even if the display is switched off, if you have your 'review' option in the menu set to anything other than Off (i.e. 2 seconds), then you should see the picture you've taken appear on the screen straight after taking it.

If it's not that, then I don't know the answer....

My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously. What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.

let we try this,,back your phone up 1st, , then we do this...go to menu ,settings, initial set up, master clear ,, code (000000)...let me know if it works... tnx...
