1. thumbnail drawer not working & 2. Working on...

Hi
1. when I first started using the Nikon CoolScan V the thumbnail drawer used to be there - now it does not appear & I have tried all the things I know & asked others with more experience with the machine & so far no answers.

2. Another problem is that while the scanning of other items is in progress you cannot alter the picture by rotating the image or even save it
