Re: acer speakers no sound
You should tell the model of your acer or the sound card on it so that i can serach it for you. However you can search it by your own by simply going to the acer website and then search the model of your laptop and the go to the support and downloads.
My speakers were working fine, I unhooked them from the back of my acer computer and now I don't have any sounds. Show me a diagram to see if i have everything hooked up right or solve this problem for me. It' showing that the speakers are playing when i click on a song in my windows media player

I completely unplugged my speakers. And uninstalled all the hardware for my speakers. Then restarted my computer. Then inserted my format disc for my speakers. Reinstalled it. Using all automatic speaker settings. And they work fine now.
Hi, the speakers won't make a difference. if your sound drivers are gone you need to know what sound card you have or what integrated sound card you have. You will also need to know what operating system you are utilizing.
What you can do is go to start, settings control panel, system, click on the hardware tab, click device manager, scroll down to where you see something with sound listed. Right click on that, and click "scan for hardware changes"
It should find drivers for your sound card if not list the model of your computer and I'll do some research =) Good luck!
start with the easy stuff to miss...wired correctly, power on (green light on the right speaker) Do you have it plugged into the GREEN socket on the rear of you computer, Is there an X in the mute box, double click on the speaker and check, do you have a splat in sound codec or any other sound component Now are you running XP speaker in a Vista world. If you are cool up to this point, Update the drivers from logitech or Acer. Logitech says they are not compatible with Vista...that could be it... hope something here helped and got you up and listening. please leave rating.
That sounds like an internal fault on your Bose system.
Leave the Bose unplugged from power and from computer for one hour, to get rid of electrostatic charges accumulated inside capacitors. If that does not get rid of the problem, then there is an internal fault, either a short on speaker wiring, or a fault on the internal amp circuit board.
Check the socket of your speaker to the computer if they are on the right socket.
Re-install the sound driver of your computer if you dont see an speaker icon at your task bar usually found at the right side of the task bar.
well, if you put the green cable on the green connector on your sound card, you,ll be fine, and see if work, fine, depending on your configuration speakers, 5.1 or 2 way, you can test if the sound go on the 2 speakers.you also check if something is bad with the other speakers
you won't do anithyng
may be is a bad resistor inside, that get hot and probably start to do this problem. try disconecting the speakers, and move to other place, more cooler, and try to see if you don't get the hissing and humming sound now. sometimes dust and hot places get to this problem.
beside that, may be a path to a problem.
