Touchscreen not reacting to stylus but the buttons work ok

To calibrate the StreetPilot c-Series touchscreen, follow these steps: Begin with the device turned off and unplugged from a power source Power the device on and continue to hold the power button for 1 minute Release the power button when the screen displays "Press Dot" Accurately touch the dots as they appear The dots will change location A stylus or pencil eraser may be used to accurately touch the dots Touch OK when the "Calibration Complete" appears The touchscreen is now calibrated.

Pull the stylus upward to remove it from the side of the phone. Push the back cover upward using your thumbs until it pops from the back of the Touch Pro2 phone. The back cover can then be lifted away and removed from the phone. Press the "Reset" button, on the upper, left side of the back panel using the stylus tip. Outdated or missing drivers can cause the touchscreen to work improperly, or not respond at all. Visit the manufacturer's website to find the right drivers for your Tablet PC. b> Repair b> While you can perform some minor repairs yourself, such as re-calibrating the touchscreen sensitivity or installing drivers, only perform a hardware repair if you have a good working knowledge of electronics, specifically Tablet PCs. Before attempting to repair your device, contact your manufacturer. If your Tablet PC has a warranty, completing an unauthorized repair may make you ineligible for claiming that warranty. Do not put lotion on your hands and do not touch the screen if your hands are wet. Any kind of moisture can affect the way the touchscreen operates. Moisture sometimes slows the response time from the screen to the operating system.

Check for a protective sheet on the screen. If there is some kind of a film or sheet on the touchscreen, the screen is likely not able to react to all of the sensitivities of the touch of a finger as it normally would.

If there is an application open and the touchscreen seems to not be working, simply close the application and retry it. A frozen application can usually be closed by pressing and holding on the circular button located just below the touchscreen.

Completely reset the phone by holding the "Home" button and the "Reset" button for a full 10 seconds until the phone resets.

Digitizer is out. Take it to a cell phone repair store but be prepared to pay out the nose. In essence, back it up and throw it.

Did you try to recallibrate it? Hold the "hint" button down while you're turning it on. Then hit "A" when the new screen comes up. You'll touch all four corners and the center with the stylus. See if it works!

i think you should either get a new ds or tap the touch screen hard. if tapping the touch sreen harder does not work then that means it is time for a new ds.

i wsa in Saturn in Wiesbaden, and i tried to operate blaupunkt Lucca 3.5. the touch screen was working, but it was not accurate at all, and wasnt sensetive enough, especially with finger. with a stylus it was much better. i tried recalibrating the touchscreen (twice) but it didnt help
in other models of Blaupunkt i didnt find this problem
