As your machine analogue it will suffer greatly from dust build up on the mirrors and this will cause dark copies and shadowing particularly bad on the edges.

Turn the power off. Remove the glass and carefully clean the mirror with a cloth. Do not scratch the mirrors and try not to move the lower mirrors as in some copiers they can cause it to go out of alignment.

It may be other things but this is the most likely and the only one you can fix.

cleaning those rollers is just a remedy and i think they are worn out and they need to be replaced once the problem comes back again.

Hi Ricoh 1232 copier and printer. Both copies and prints are produced as if the paper feed was slightly delayed and the print moves over about an inch: effect is you have a large margin on the left side...

Is the paper in the tray landscape-oriented or portrait-oriented? If it's landscape-oriented (short edge is fed first) then you might just need to realign the paper fences. There is a screw holding down the gear in between them -- if you remove that screw you can move the fences so that they're both lined up correctly. (Push them both in all the way or out all the way, then reinsert the gear and screw it back down.)

If the paper is portrait-oriented, it may be an adjustment that will have to be made by a Ricoh service technician. It is a simple adjustment to make, and should only take a minute or two if you can have a tech look at it.

Dark print out

check the fuser... to see if one of the rollers has toner all over it... then check your paper path... to see if you see any obvious signs... then try printing 20 pages and opening the copier at various times during the printout process... you want to see if you can catch it where the dark starts appearing... chances are where it starts... is right next to the bad part... you are looking for a print out with one half no dark and the other half real dark...

Hi,i owned model ft3613.as it makes more copies it crumlped the paper more.pls help me. what can i do to my copier?

In most cases, it's either the paper in the drawer is dogeared, not lying flat and even edges or fuser rollers are in need of relacement or possible registration roller issues. The only thing you can do is check the drawer paper. Other than that you'll have to have a technician take a look at it. If this helps please rate it. Thanks

Text "ghosts" or shadows

Replace Drum or blade(if possible) will fix on most types of copiers/printers, or rarer it is cause of fuser.
