Question about Canon PowerShot A85 Digital Camera
When I take a picture and I switch to see what the pictures looks like the image is sourced in a red haze.
I had that same problem and I have to say that Canon did right by me -- at no charge. I communicated with their service department via e-mail; I was sent a UPS voucher to send the camera in at no charge to me; and I did so. Canon determined the problem was vendor-related, fixed it, and returned it -- all of this within two weeks. And like I said, no charge at all. Did I mention the camera is two years old? I'd be ready to criticize Canon as much as necessary if the company had failed or refused to take care of this, so I feel equally obligated in this case to applaud. I can tell you the next time I look for a camera, I'll start with Canon.
