Question about Intel Desktop Board SE440BX-2 Motherboard

Motherboard processor support

Hi, so according to Intels site if I read it right this board is capable of supporting a P3 850mhz with certain revisions. With my revision# my board will support a max of P3 600mhz.Is this right? Also would I notice much difference going from a P2 350mhz to a P3 600 mhz processor? Would it be worth updating?

Support dualcore?

That is a socket 478 motherboard. I doubt that one even gets dual core processors in the 478 chipset. Also according to the ECS website, this is a Pentium 4/Celeron board. More info can be found here.

WHICH MOTHER BOARD SUPPORT em64T INTEL ?

All major motherboard manufacturers offer this support on most boards. The em64T indicates the processor is capable of running 64-bit operating systems and software. Do you already have a processor and if so what model is the processor? Based on the processor model you'll need to select a motherboard that has the correct socket type and bus speeds.
