YOU CAN NOT PUT NINTENDO 64 GAMES INTO SNES or NES SLOTS. The retro duo is snes (super nintendo entertainment system) and nes (nintendo entertainment system) only there is not spot for the nintendo 64.
Well dust causes video game systems to over heat more faster than their current heAting rates. So try cleaning it out with compressed air and you will need a 4.5 mm bit tool to open it up and try playing with a fan blowing on it N 64 consoles are notorious for over heating problems and getting hot too fast.
Hi, most often this is due to a "Blown" power supply... the only fix is replacement... IF a PSU can be obtained it is relatively easy to replace it... there are tutorials on the net to follow simply Google how to replace a Nintendo 64 power supply... and it will show you what to do...if you don't wish to DIY, send it to Nintendo for repair or take it to a repair place and ask for a "Quote".
Hi, I will be more than happy to try to help you out. First, look at the connectors on the games. They should be very shiny and a light gold color. If not, then they are dirty and need to be cleaned off. I usually use a piece of sandpaper and run it over the contacts on the game. Then take a q-tip and put some glass cleaner on it and clean the contacts off. Then look at the 64, check the contacts inside the system itself and clean them up a little as well.Put a game in, and you should be up and gaming.
I mainly do vacuums, but the N64 has a small door on the top for adding stuff to it, also the controllers have a slot at the bottom, the extention pack I am sure will only fit into either the main consol or a controller but not both.
