Motorola V3i White screen problem

-   My phone is having the same problem. Out of no where my Motorola V3i screen disappears and goes a solid white (sometimes changes to black). I called my cellphone company and they basically are going to charge me a **** load to repair. I have only had the phone 3 months and have been very careful with it. Everything else appears to work but the screen... I would appreciate any help. I have already tried to turn off the phone and remove the battery and then power back up, but it did not help.-   SMHA
