After further T/S, I found out that the intake/Drain lite came on mid cycle(between interim and final rince) during the economy wash. I tried annother setting (nornal wash) and the cycle completed without a problem. I then followed this with two more economy wash cycles with no problems. I have eliminated any blocked lines issue 9by the fact it completes cycles on other settings)Before I pursue the potential faulty wiring issue any futher( which would mean taking apart stufff!) I want to be sure we are on the right track. Comments?

It sounds like there are some faulty wiring connections to the motor.

You will have to check your wiring from the timer to the motor.

Does it do the same thing if you select a different cycle on the push buttons?

The wiring diagram should be in the bottom access panel of the dishwasher or in the control panel.

your last comment has suggested that it might be a wiring error.. you can proceed.. Dont forget to switch off the unit and disconnect it completely from power supply.. Exercise caution. Your life and limb is worth much more than this!

Washer isn't draining properly. Cleaned out filter but keeps flashing numbers.

My duet is also doing that. The error code that I get is F02. If you press the cancel button twice, it will cancel the error code. Then press and hold the start button until the door locks again. It should continue on the cycle. If not, press cancel once and put the dial on 'drain and spin' to complete the cycle. I think the problem is probably the computer control module, but I am hesitant to spend the money on the part which is about $150 without labor, because my washer is 7 1/2 years old. Replacing the part does not look hard to do. There is a You-Tube video that shows how to take your duet apart and put it back together which shows the computer control module.

GE front load washer will not complete the rinse & spin cycle

1) 1st check the filter under the machine (it unscrews behind the access panel 2) open front door and pull back the rubber membrane to see metal and clean out the debris blocking drain holes 3) remove the drain hose from the machine (spring clip) and try and run water thru it and keep blowing out the junk and re-attach 4) run the machine thru 2 cleaning cycles w/bleach and without bleach 5) start using less detergent

Keep getting error f20

Press the Pause/Cancel button twice to clear the display and cancel the cycle. Unplug the machine and remove the fill hoses from the water inlet valves. Check the inlet screens for clogging and clean it. Make sure that the water supply valves are open and water is present. Check the drain hose for siphoning.

Press and hold the Start button to start a new wash cycle. If the error code flashes again, verify if there is water present inside the tub. Check the water inlet valve if no water is present. Check the pressure switch if water is present.

Miele Dishwasher G892SCU Plus Intake/Drain light keep flashing

Hello RD,
Every Miele dishwasher is designed to drain water in the first 30 seconds of any cycle. Does your intake/drain light come on at all? Miele technical services can troubleshoot the fault code if you do get an intake/drain light.
The most common issue I have seen is that the dishwasher drain line is clogged.
Solution - Try checking the airgap at the top of your sink, if nothing there then check the end of the drain line usually connected to the garbage disposal if you have one. I would reccomend disconnecting the end of the drain line and putting it into a bucket. Let the dishwasher run for 30 seconds and if it drains then its a problem with your garbage disposal. If not I would contact Miele technical support to troubleshoot the fault code

Good luck

Kenmore HE2T F20 plus Water leakage when tub starts to fill

Have you read by advice on how to diagnose this problem? Click on the following link:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r1491905-f20_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

If you HAVE water entering the wash tub, first verify that you do not have a siphoning condition. This is where the drain line does not have the proper air gap to drain properly and creates a vacuum on the drain line. This will cause drain problems and may prevent the washer from filling all the way. Or, you may have trouble maintaining the water level. When you stated you had water leaking, is this a visible leak? Or, do you have water slowly draining from the tub? Double check your drain line to be sure.

Next, check the drain pump to ensure it is not clogged or obstructed which minimizes drain flow. Also, make sure the pump is running. Remove the access cover and clean out the pump reservoir. In addition, check the drain line from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. I have personally found small articles of clothing stuck in this line, preventing drain flow.

Read through the link thoroughly. If you require additional assistance, please let me know before rating the solution. I hope this helps you.

I have the Kenmore elite calypso washer and it stops and displays LD. What does this maean and how do i fix it? Thanks!

“F21” (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385844-checking_drain_pump_kenmore_elite_front

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

Dishwasher does not complete cycle

It could be a clogged in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Good luck!
