I listen to streaming audio while I surf the net. While listening to streaming audio, I get a "stutter", when I click a link in the window I'm surfing. Never have experienced this, even on my 10 year old Dell dimension.

This will usually only happen if you have so many programs running in the background that your system resources are maxed out. The processor has to momentarily stop one process to go to the link that you clicked on. Check your task manager and see what you have left for resources. You can probably go through and kill a number of background tasks without causing any issues. If you're not sure what a particular task is for type in the name on Google. There are a number of sites on the web that will tell you what pretty much all of your tasks are connected to.
