Question about Creda W100FW Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Water overfowing At the beginning, when the washer pulls in water to fill the washing space, water and foam come out through the detergent tray in the front. Soon after it starts washing, my ?Grand Canyon? from the tray subsides. I tried to put less detergent, but did not remedy completely the problem. I do not have the instruction brochure so, I am lost. Maybe there is a place where I can download the brochure. Do you know about such a thing? Thank you . Anna

I am very grateful for your help.

Leaves detergent in despencer tray

Most of the time this is a dispenser housing issue. Remove the dispenser tray from washer and make sure it is cleaned very well. In the more serious clogs, you may need to clean the hose from the dispenser to the drum.
  1. Make sure the detergent dispenser drawer is opening. This issue occurs due to jammed soap dispenser. Dispenser Distribution System is located in the top left corner of the washer. The system consists of a motor that turns a cam gear. The Detergent Dispenser Assembly is located under the washer top. Begin by removing the washer top, console and front panel.
  2. Separate the water inlet and window washer tube from the boot. Pull the water inlet tube from the outlet connector of the detergent dispenser. NOTE: When reinstalling the water inlet tube, wet the water inlet gasket on the detergent dispenser with water only. Do not use any other lubricant. Align the tab on the water inlet tube with the indentation on the dispenser connector and slide the tube onto the detergent dispenser assembly.
  3. Remove the screw securing the front of the detergent dispenser assembly to the top front frame member.
  4. Disconnect the vent tube from the detergent dispenser assembly. Remove the screw securing the detergent dispenser assembly to the top left frame member. Slide the assembly back slightly and lift the assembly out.
  5. To remove the detergent dispenser motor assembly, disconnect the cam follower spring and lift the cam follower from the diverter cam and rotate the diverter cam clockwise to access the motor mounting screws. Check for all the connections to the dispenser motor or anything obstructing the dispenser drawer functioning.
  6. Pull the diverter out and clean it, including the shaft, spring, etc.

My washer leaks. Every time I wash a load of clothing, there is a large amount of water on the floor. What are the possible problems?

Front loaders use less detergent and when there's more than the recommended amount, they tend to foam up and cause this. Another issue could be that you're using He detergent and this is a concentrated detergent. The He detergent is recommended for most front loaders and you should only use the recommended amount or foaming will occur.
The last potential issue could be related to a water softener if you have one. If you do have one and you just recharged it, it could be making the water soft-er than normal and this would cause some excess foaming. Soft water is good, but the you need to use less detergent or it will cause this foam issue
Hope this helps.

Leaking water

Water can't leak out the top from overloading unless the entire tub is full of water which is a major malfunction, or an inlet hose between the powder drawer and tub is somehow blocked (extremely unlikely).. Are you using topload detergent? Normal detergent can foam up and out through the drawer and leak onto the floor..
Normally water enters through the top of the powder tray to disperse it into the tub. pull out the tray slightly while filling to see how this works. You might be able to identify that the water is not flowing properly. Normally you can really pack into a front loader, I've been thrilled with my 5100 for 8yrs.
If this doesn't help let me know and I'll suggest next step.
Good luck!

Bosch Axxis WFL2060 stopped working on a wash cycle. The first time I used liquid HE detergent. I am sure I put too much in and the interior foamed up, the detergent tray foamed up and came out underneath...

water in base after overfoaming has leak detection if you can tip machine back this water will run onto floor allowing unit to rest, make sure you put down some rags towel etc to trap water there will be up to a pint of water.

Water leaking from deyergant compartment

Make sure these isn't any foreign objects in the tube that leads into the drum from the detergent tray.

Remove the top of the unit. 2 screws in the back. Top left and top right and slide the top off. Look under the tray and locate the tube and feel around. You may have to remove the tube to get a better look.

Keeps on filling and wont drain

please follow the steps which i give to find and rectify the mistake (1) First check the wash load/laundry. If it is unevenly distributed in the tub making it unequal, rearrange it, close the lid again.
(2) Make sure your washer is leveled and you have filled sufficient water in the tub for that size of wash load/laundry. Insufficient water can make imbalance.
(3) Make sure the power cord/cable is plugged into the working electrical wall socket.
(4) It is better to check the appropriate circuit breakers or fuse of the fuse box and reset if necessary.
(5) Inspect the drain hoses and remove any bends. Inspect the drain system, too - if it's clogged.
(6) Then close the washer lid and pull out the knob to start it. For your safety, the washer will not spin unless the door is closed.
(7) Excessive foam can also cause this problem. If you find it to be the solution, rewash the clothes with plain water. For future, ensure use of correct amount of detergent with low-foam.
(8) It is possible that the lid switch, that prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open, could be malfunctioning. If that happens, a built-in mechanism – brakes will be applied and washer will stop washer operations until the lid switch is repaired/replaced.

Eurotech washer Leaking water front detergent drawer

Hi,
I'm not familiar with your machine but usually there are nozzles above the soap drawer which squirt the water on to the detergent compartments at the appropriate times . If you can take out the soap tray have a look to see if the nozzle bit has come loose and is pointing towards you...also check that the outlets from the soap tray are not clogged with...soap.

Failing that, you could partially turn off the water supply to the machine so the pressure is reduced. Sure it will take longer to fill, but you won't get so wet.

Hope this helps. If this "fixes ya", I'd appreciate a rating for my reply, If not, please delay the rating and add a comment with any extra info you have and I will try to think of something else.

Thanks, D

Machine doesn't dispense detergent

Here's a few suggestions you can try. First, open the dispenser tray far enough to where you can see inside. Enter diagnostics mode by selecting DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN and pushing ANY button under OPTIONS 4 times (it has to be the SAME button, though). This will enter the washer into diagnostics mode which checks the hot and cold water fill functions, the dispenser tray functions, tumble, spin and drain. Watch inside the dispenser tray to see if you can see any water flushing through the various compartments (detergent, bleach, fabric softener). The water should be fairly steady and forceful. There's not much else, besides gravity, that forces the detergent into the wash tub. Now...if you don't see the desired water flushing action that you should see, check the overhead portion of the dispenser cavity. Pull the tray all the way out for this. There are a series of holes where the water is forced through. Sometimes these holes become clogged and will not allow enough water in during the fill and rinse cycles. It's usually the fabric softener side that becomes blocked, though. You can take some cotton cotton swabs and perform the tedious task of cleaning each hole if they are blocked. I've had to do this before and it does fix the problem. The other possiblities are the fill valve not allowing enough water pressure through (but, you didn't mention anything about a slow fill problem), or a kinked or blocked hose coming from the fill valve. If you wish to check the fill valve, turn the water off and remove the hoses from the back of the washer. Check the inlet screens for clogs. If you have hard water, well water, or BOTH, it is common for the inlet screens to get accumulated with sediment. Again, some cotton swabs will clean the majority of the sediment from the screens (you can use a little white vinegar as well). If you wish to check the inlet hoses from the fill valve, remove the top of the washer by removing the three torx screws along the back of the washer. The top will slide back then lift off. There are a series of hoses from the fill valve to the dispenser. Check to see if any of them have become kinked. I hope this information is helpful to you. Post back with comments if you need further assistance.

your hose from the dispenser to the tub might be twisted or kinked but it is about 2in in diameter and seems unlikely, but anything is possible
