Center speaker does not have sound

First double check all connections. And if that does not fix pull the cables on one of the working speakers and plug into the center speaker to make sure it is not a bad speaker. If the speaker works connect them back the way they were and Click Start then open Control Panel look for Sounds and Audio Devices click on it. It should open to Volume now down on the bottom you will see Speaker settings click on Advanced. Speaker Advanced Audio Properties should open look for Speaker setup click on the little blue V, go down and click on Surround sound speakers now click Apply then OK and OK again. It should work correctly now.

My speakers won't make a sound.

Process of elimination... check your cable hookup first. then control panel and check sound, right click on properties tab and do a diagnostic.

One speake is not working

The sound MAY BE turned down to zero using the Windows sound program/Mixer . Go to START - CONTROL PANEL - HARDWARE AND SOUND - MANAGE AUDIO DEVICES - and double click on the speaker icon then check the BALANCE control it should be set a 100% for both left and right. Click CONFIGURE and TEST the speakers.
If that doesn't work you have either a bad plug (on the speakers or on the laptop) or one bad speaker or the plug is not fully inserted or the speakers a just incompatible with the laptop. You might test the speakers on another computer.

My speakers started buzzing and making a horrible noise during the night. I had to unplug them to get it to stop. What's going on?

Feedback. Check the wires, might have a bad connection. Wiggle them around and see if the buzz sound stops or changes. If that happens, its usually that wire. Good Luck.

There's always a bzzz sound coming out when plugged in.

if there's buzzing coming out, there's probably a rip in the actual speakers. Something is torn on the inside thus the weird buzzing noise.

Unless it was a zzzzzzzzz...... noise then there's probably some sort of interference. Possibly cellphone close by, or some other magnetic thing to create that annoying sound.

Durabrand 2.0 CH USB Speaker System

Try this, go to control panel and double click Sounds and Audio Devices. Then click advanced, under speaker settings and make sure your settings are desktop speakers. Also, in control panel, click Sound Effect Manager and do a speaker test. This should help.
