Question about Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO (F5D9230-4) Router (1010835)
I have gone through the installation CD for my belkin g+ mimo and still cannot get a wireless connection after going through the instructions. I have to remain hard wired to use the internet.
Hello, Connect a crossover ethernet cable from the computer to one of the LAN ports (usually 4 grouped together) on back of router. Connect a crossover ethernet cable from DSL modem to the WAN port on the back of router. Enter The default address for a Belkin Wireless, 192 168.2.1 into browser address window. Hit enter, it will then ask for a password only. For default leave it blank and hit enter. You can change it later. This lets you into the settings. Look for WAN settings and make sure the "Dynamic IP" is selected. Save this and refresh the link. Bring up a browser and check for internet connection. There's a number of changes that can be made here. Let me know what happens.
