Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32FS120 32" TV
Hello not sure if one has to pay to post a question, I hope not because I have no money at this point. Here is my question I have a 32 inch sony trinitron tv (KV32FS12). My problem is that my standby light flashes in sequences of 5. I have sound and my picture is not steady but also flashes. Not sure if the M board is fmessed up, something as simple as a lamp over heating, or I just need a need picture tube. I can not afford to purchase a new tv at this time. I appreciate your help. Thanks

Five blinks - AKB
circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks
for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function.
Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761
and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on
the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning
up screen slightly.
