I need to get my BenQ 656A up and running

I have this problem with my BenQ 656A; when I put any cd software be it game, music or programs it tells my to "please to insert a disk into dive J:". I have uninstall the disk dive the power to it to see it would reset and to no avial. I've gone to BenQ to get a diver and firmwear and all they have is for Dos Operation. I'm running on Windows XP Pro. Now who in this world is usesing DOS in this day and age!!??
