We recently bought a new washing machine, front loading, and it seems to enjoy dancing across the floor when it spins, any ideas what we can do to prevent this, the floor has a laminate finish.

The adjustable feet under the machine are supposed to be fitted with rubber cups. Make sure the machine doesn't rock around when pushed and pulled in several directions--you may need to adjust the feet so that the machine sits level and firmly. If it really gets to hopping after you have checked the previous items, then the tub suspension system inside the case may hung-up in some way. That would appear to be a warranty item.
