I have a new Samsung WA422 top load washer. First one was bent internally and would not balance. A second washer was delivered a week ago. The first washer did not make this sound at all, but the second one does. Totally bothers me because it sounds like it's about to die.

MY washer fills, sometimes stops without completing the wash, sometimes it shows a completed cycle but the clothes are too wet to dry, sometimes during a cycle it will turn off with the door locked.

Sounds like a draining problem - Check the drain filter isnt blocked, if fitted before doing anything else - remove the filter and clean it. Then, can you hear the drain pump running on the drain cycle (drum not moving but pump should be) - a chug chug chug noise and water should be flowing down the waste pipe. Door WILL lock if the machine is full of water or is slow to drain - to prevent floods. Do NOT force the door open without draining - you will only break the door handle.
If water not flowing on drain - and filter clear - may be blocked pipe, sock stuck in sump hose - coin or counter flipped on edge in a pipe and blocking it - something like any of the above. Clothes too wet to dry is classic partially blocked drain pipe symptom - or spin aborted as drum out of balance.

My whirlpool aquasteam ADP7955 TOUCH starts it's cycle fine but halfway through starts beeping and a different cycle starts flashing. What is going I'm?

Is it aborting the wash and going into a drain cycle? That would be because there is something wrong with the draining cycle - the water is not flowing out. Check your drain filter, if fitted, before anything else - then check for blockages at the waste pipe connectors on the sink / waste pie, etc. Can you hear the drain pump running on the drain only cycle? a chug chug chug noise. If not, the pump may be seized with a coin / nail / pin / broken zip / button etc. Can you you turn the pump impeller by hand, or is it seized?
Check all the basic things like filling, emptying, filters, water supply before doing anything else.

It won't spin until all the water is drained out. The drain pump may be blocked or faulty. Fix the drain pump fault first then deal with the filling issue. They will not be related.

Roper washing machine fills and washes, but when it gets to the spin cycle there is no sound and it won,t spin.

Hi m3gamma1,

Before the Spin Cycle should start, all water must be drained out of the machine. If it does not start, it could likely mean the Drain pump may be clogged. Please follow my below tip on the fix:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER...

If this does not help, the drain pump may be faulty.

Kind Regards

AEG 73630: wont take water in, cant pump water out, when choosing a program the timer seems to have changed minutes with seconds, and when choosing af program, the only thing happening is, af few spins...

The machine knows what the water level should be at every step of the program, so if its full when it should be empty, is not filling when it should be or is taking too long to fill or empty the program will abort and count down in seconds as you describe.
First - check the drain filter for blockage!! if clear, can you hear the drain pump running on 'drain' program? a chug chug chug noise. If not pump may be jammed or seized - or the drain tube maybe be blocked at the waste connection on the sink, etc. Or maybe the water supply pipes have blocked or got turned off? Possibly the waste pipe may not have been installed correctly and the machine is syphoning empty? ie the end of the waste pipe is lower than the water level in the machine - so it syphons empty like draining petrol from a petrol tank! That would empty the machine when it should be full.
Check all the basics of filling, draining and filter before suspecting anything else.

New water pump, cleaned trap, checked little vaccuum hose and it wont do final spin. No errors on panel and everything else works fine

If your washer fills to the correct level, agitates through the wash cycle, and then drains, I would check the door safety switch for proper positioning and switching operation. The switch should have minimal resistance (closed circuit) when it is depressed and high resistance (open circuit) when released.

It fills up..washes..but wont drain or spin out..

I had the same problem. Checked the pump and it ran fine. Took off the door locking mechanism and put 120 ohms into the wax motor part and it tested fine too. I read about problems with that wax motor so I replaced the complete door switch today for $71.00 and the washer runs perfectly now. If it won't spin or even fully drain I suggest replacing the door switch.
