Question about Kitchen Ranges
My father bought the bread master HB - B301 for my mother a couple of years ago. But unfortunately she got ill just after and had been unable to use the machine. It was put into the garage out of her way and forgotten about. She just resently passed away 3 weeks ago. I found my father sellin this beautiful machine for $25. in a yard sale outside his house. Well I ran and stole it away. But the main problem is that the box the the instructions and recipes must have been thrown out when she first got the bread maker. She only used it once. I myself have never ever made bread in my life or done much cooking at all for that matter (which is a family joke (they want to know why my husband and I had a house built with a kitchen in it)). I know my mother would be proud if I made some homemade (or machine made) bread. Could you please help me?
I bought the same Hitachi Bread Master Model HB-B301 at a thrift store for my wife. I found the MANUAL and COOKBOOK for FREE on this site:
Enjoy, happy baking!

Here are some recipes specific to your breadmaker ...http://www.year2000.com/Details-200/bread-hitachi-machine-recipe.html
There are some "box" variety of breadmaker kits out there, reasonably priced, they make very nice bread and a few different types. Always use room temperature water and put it in first, then the flour and the yeast on top. I find that the breadmaker works best wiped out and not cleaned with soap and water. Everytime I use soap and water it takes 2 batches to get it to rise properly again.
The following is from the Hitachi site:
You can purchase the owner's manual or cookbook for your Hitachi model Breadmaker for $10.00 plus a shipping and handling fee through our Authorized Parts Distributor, Pacific Coast Parts.
