Electrical-check engine light blinking & door lock, lock/unlocks

My recently purchased 1999 Subaru Forester L (40,000 miles) has electrical problems. The battery is good but was discharged because the lights were left on. Battery is now completely charged. NOW: 1> the check engine light is blinking, 2>the driver side door lock intermittently locks/unlocks, 3> there is a “clicking” noise coming from some sort of device on passenger side under rear back, 4> there are no batteries in the key fobs. ANYONE have any ideas on how to get rid of these problems????

The clicking noise is the remote relay button to your keylocks remote control system not resetting. Turn key towards dashboard, open driver door, press red buttong under dash, press 3 times with remote, remote should blink, chirp and reset, noise should stop. Go to an Auto Shop that fixes foreign cars and have them to put the meter in your dashboard to reset the codes after finding out what the code is for your problem you are having, record that code and description, have mechanic reset your codes so that your engine light will go off. This is all I have experience. LaLynda
