Question about Canon FAX-L900 Plain Paper Laser
When we fax something out, the name on the receving end (on the document) reflects a department name that is no longer with the company, how can I change that to reflect the correct department name?
On the L900 there is a Data Registration button that can be revealed by lifting the flap that covers the one-touch buttons on the doc feeder. Press the blue 'data registration' button and you will have 2 choices 1. Tel Registration and 2. User Registration Select User registration. Then scroll through to 'user settings' then select and scroll through to user name, user number etc. Use the flaps down for the letters etc then press enter. The rest will become obvious once you get that far.

Depending on the machine, the setting will be in one of two locations, In your menus under either Machine Settings or Fax Settings. You will find the machine ID, That is where you change it.
