Hopefully this is all it is other wise it may be more sinister like the fuser roller has fused together -
I have had this happen on another printer . Because I did not remove the power before I removed the fuser unit in a different model and make of printer. And fused the rollers together like melted together in the fuser. I think you would get an error code if this was the case !
Scan the document and save it.
Lift the lid on your scanner lay the photo face down then select scan

With most laser printers whenever I see this problem It means that you had a paper jam but did not get all of it out. something is impeding the straight flow of the vellum. Most likely there is a piece of vellum stuck somewhere inside that you cant find.
